Already under intense criticism for how Hockey Canada handled multiple sexual assault allegations, past and present members of the organization’s board defended its record before a parliamentary committee, in a combative and tense hearing. As Abigail Bimman reports, they told MPs nothing needs to change with Hockey Canada, and said the organization was the victim.

Backing up earlier promises to help people recover from Fiona, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has now announced $300 million in aid. As Ross Lord reports, the relief can’t come soon enough for many people still struggling in the destructive storm’s aftermath.
