Big Gigantic – 7 p.m., Crystal Bay Casino, 14 Highway 28. Big Gigantic are veterans of blending electronic dance music with their live instruments to create Big G’s truly unique sound; a sound that is as thoughtful as it is danceable. Educational Snowshoe Tour with Sierra State Parks Foundation – 11 a.m.-12 p.m., Sugar Pine Point Campground. Educational Snowshoe Tour led by State Park Interpreters, sponsored by the Sierra State Parks Foundation. Tours are 120-minutes (2 miles) with short educational stops along the way. We will discuss flora and fauna, watershed health, and the 1960 Winter Olympics, of which Sugar Pine Point was the venue for all cross-country events.  We will provide a 24-hour cancellation notice if unsafe weather conditions persist. Altitude: In the Peripheral Exhibition and Artist talk by Nick Cahill – 5-7 p.m., Description UNR at Lake Tahoe – Prim Library Join us for the reception and artist talk of Altitude: In the Peripheral an exhibition by Nick Cahill in the Prim Reference Gallery at the Prim Library. The event will start at 5pm and the artist talk will start at 5:30 on the Mezzanine. There will be light food and sparkling water severed. This event is free and open to everyone. Cahill is a Tahoe local, an outdoor adventure filmmaker and photographer. He is driven by storytelling and the pursuit of wild places.
