Acorn Ridge Casino opens Tuesday in Plymouth, featuring 484 slots, 12 table games, outdoor entertainment and farm-to-fork dining.
PLYMOUTH, Calif. — Acorn Ridge Casino officially opens to the public on Tuesday in Plymouth.
The casino was developed by the Ione Band of Miwok Indians in partnership with Sierra Entertainment.
According to the tribe, the project is rooted in tribal sovereignty, economic growth and cultural pride, and is intended to create long-term opportunities for future generations across the region.
“Acorn Ridge Casino is the realization of years of hard work, perseverance and vision by our Tribe,” said Sara Dutschke, Chairperson of the Ione Band of Miwok Indians. “This casino represents economic independence, new opportunities for our people and a place where we can welcome our neighbors and visitors in a beautiful and unique entertainment destination.”
The 60,000-square-foot property includes 484 slot machines and 12 table games, as well as an outdoor entertainment venue. Guests can move between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the property.
Dining options include the casino’s flagship restaurant, Stone Creek Kitchen, which offers a farm-to-fork experience.
Guests can also visit Old Roots Bar or order from mobile beverage carts on the gaming floor serving specialty, hand-crafted cocktails, wine and beer.
“From the moment our guests arrive, our goal is to offer them an experience that feels familiar in the best way,” said Jake Zaneta, General Manager of Acorn Ridge Casino. “Something unique to Acorn Ridge is our light and airy design, which was inspired by the natural beauty and rural character of Amador County.”
Acorn Ridge is located in Plymouth and is designed to serve local residents and visitors traveling through Amador County’s wine country and foothill communities.
The casino is opening fully staffed and is expected to generate economic growth for the region.
