Bee Cave entertainment district to bring pickleball courts, eateries

Date:

A recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation reveals construction plans for an $11.3 million entertainment district in Bee Cave, which will include courts designed specifically for pickleball, tennis and badminton.

Standard-sized pickleball and badminton courts are 880 square feet, and filings indicate the court space will occupy more than 4,000 square feet, meaning the venue could be home to as many as four courts.

In addition to a sports lounge and courts, the 35,000-square-foot entertainment district will also host retailers, medical offices and “luxury eateries with a sensory experience,” according to the developer’s website.

Construction is expected to begin in April, with an end date estimated for July 2027. Renderings of the project are not currently available on the developer’s website.

The developer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
