IGN Entertainment is the exclusive media partner for this year’s Nite to Unite fundraiser. The event supports the ESA Foundation’s work to advance diverse and underrepresented voices in the games industry.
Taking place tomorrow (March 10), Nite to Unite 2026 will support programs including:
- Scholarships for underrepresented college groups seeking to enter game development
- Celebrating and elevating social impact through storytelling
- Supporting workforce development, accessibility, and wellness through partnerships and charitable investments
- Supporting industry inclusion through convening, networking, and resource provision
The event also honours nonprofits, individuals, and companies who drive social impact through video games and show the industry’s power beyond entertainment.
“IGN Entertainment has always uplifted the creativity of the gaming community, and we’re excited to continue working together to champion the next generation of diverse talent,” said ESA Foundation executive director Sue Madden.
“Their support as a three-time sponsor underscores the power of collaboration between industry leaders and the ESA Foundation in ensuring that students can pursue their dreams in the video games industry.”
Ziff Davis Gaming & Entertainment president Yael Prough added: “IGN Entertainment is thrilled to once again partner with the ESA Foundation for Nite to Unite. This event is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when the entire gaming community comes together.”
“Our partnership extends across our family of brands, including Humble Bundle, which, through its gaming ecommerce platform, has raised more than $272 million for over 34,000 charities worldwide.”
Prough continued: “The ESA Foundation’s impact on future generations of game makers is vital, and we’re honoured to continue standing alongside them in that mission.”
Nite to Unite 2026 takes place at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco and includes a silent auction. You can buy tickets here.
