Date:

“The Kelly Clarkson Show” will end after this season, as the singer has made the decision to step away from hosting the talk show.

The show, which airs each weekday afternoon on KXLY, has been on the air since 2019.

Production of season seven continues and episodes will air through fall 2026.

The announcement was shared Monday with the show’s staff and crew.

There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons,” Clarkson said in a news release announcing the show’s ending. “I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”

“Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives,” she said. “This isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be making music, playing shows here and there and you may catch me on ‘The Voice’ from time to time … you never know where I might show up next.”

“The Kelly Clarkson Show” is produced by Universal Television and distributed by NBCUniversal Syndication Studios. It airs in over 200 markets across the country.

The show won Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host.

Clarkson rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol in 2003.

She has won multiple music awards, including three Grammy Awards,

Her ex-husband and father of her children Brandon Blackstock died of cancer last summer.
