The series stars Melissa Roxburgh (who starred in another major Netflix hit), alongside Nick Wechsler in season one. Wechsler plays Oliver Odell, a complex, charming, yet often reckless, former FBI profiler and prison warden of “The Pit” in Cheyenne, Wyoming. As you can imagine, he becomes a crucial part of the team working to track down the escaped killers.
But the second he appeared on my screen, I paused. Not because of the plot, because of him. I immediately thought, “Where have I seen him before?” And then it clicked.
Nick played Jack Porter in the ABC drama series Revenge (2011–2015), appearing in all four seasons. Jack was the loyal, earnest bartender at the Stowaway Tavern who eventually becomes a police officer. It was one of my favorite dramas (and, let’s be honest, still a top-tier comfort rewatch), so of course the recognition hit fast.
