PORTAGE, Mich. — If you’re looking for fun but don’t know what to do, Zap Zone XL could be the place for you.
It is currently the largest family entertainment center in Michigan.
Zap Zone started up in Canton Township and now has multiple locations across the state.
Their newest and biggest location yet opened up in Portage in February.
“The space was ginormous,” Mujay Gatum, the general manager at Zap Zone XL, said. “It was more than we thought we needed, but we used all of it and we decided that it was going to be a good opportunity to bring Zap Zone to the west side of the state.”
Even if you’ve been to another Zap Zone location, you haven’t quite seen anything like this one.
“This is the biggest location,” Gatum explained. “It is the only location that has bowling, skating, and high-speed carting. That is a unique concept here at this location.”
With the wide variety of activities offered, there is something fun for everyone.
“We have everything all under one roof from bowling, ax throwing, laser tag, arcade, trampoline adventure park, and bumper cars,” Gatum said. “We have a skating rink here at this location, party rooms, a bar and restaurant and the list goes on and on.”
There are packages available if you want to try out multiple attractions.
If you’re not feeling adventurous and would rather just stick to one activity, there is an option for you too.
“Because we have so many attractions, you can come in and purchase individual activities,” Gatum explained. “If you guys are bowlers and you just want to bowl, you can buy a bowling ticket. Otherwise, we do have bundles and deals that allow you to do all-day passes with access to different attractions and activities.”
