WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — kNoname Artist brings Roderick George’s “The Grave’s Tears” to the MainStage at Williams College ’62 Center on Tuesday night in a performance that is not to be missed. This powerful work weaves together ballet, improvisation, and modern movement alongside evocative music and narration—with an all-male cast diving deep into themes of identity, resilience, and community within the LGBTQ+ experience.
Rooted in George’s voice as a queer Black artist, the piece pays tribute to those lost and affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic while affirming the enduring strength of solidarity and survival.
After the show, a Q&A with the company will give attendees a chance to go deeper into the work and the stories behind it.
The show is Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10; $3 for students.
