Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky has taken his push for NATO membership to the summit of world leaders in Lithuania today. Zelensky is sitting down with US President Joe Biden and other NATO leaders in Vilnius. On Wednesday, NATO said it was ready to back Ukraine in its fight against Russia but not to give it full membership yet. That prompted a rare public condemnation from Zelensky calling NATO’s refusal to set up a timeline for Ukraine’s membership ‘absurd’. Correspondent in Vilnius Teri Schultz tells us more.
