How to Watch the Harris vs. Trump 2024 Presidential Debate for Free

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will participate in their first presidential debate, set for Tuesday, Sept. 10. ABC News will host the debate from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. David Muir and Linsey Davis will serve as moderators.

Tuesday’s debate will run for 90 minutes, with two commercial breaks. There won’t be an on-site audience and candidates’ microphones will be muted when it’s time for the other candidate to speak. The debaters will not be permitted to ask questions of each other.

Much like the previous presidential debate between Biden and Trump, this event has done away with opening statements. Harris and Trump will get directly to work answering the moderators’ questions. They’ll each have 2 minutes for their answers, 2 minutes for rebuttals and 1 more minute for follow-ups, clarifications or responses. No props or prewritten notes will be allowed.

ABC is airing the event, and viewers can watch on the network as well as Hulu or Disney Plus. But keep reading to find out how to watch the event for free and where else to stream online.
