Exploring Marrakech: Golfing at Assoufid and Al Maaden, culinary delights and nightlife adventures
Remaining in the magnificent Marrakech for another episode of Golf Travel Tales, host Immy Barclay uncovers the city’s neverending options, delicious cuisine and fun activities!
First we take on the main event, heading to the 18-hole Assoufid Golf Club, where a sloping course runs 150 metres downhill upon olive and palm groves, all backed by breathtaking views of the Atlas mountains. After working up an appetite on the strategic holes here, Immy takes us to learn how to make a traditional – and mouthwatering – lamb and prawn Tagine.
Last but not least, Immy heads to the Al Maaden Golf Club, for her final round of golf in Morocco. Located on the edge of the Atlas mountains, this 18-hole, par 73 course stands out as one of the most unique golf courses in Morocco, as built inside an open-air sculpture park.
The city of Marrakech is the perfect place to close out our Morocco golf trip, allowing Immy to cast a glance at the wonderful nightlife the city has to offer.
