It is a complicated Canada Day for many Albertans.
Two initiatives are underway to try to force referendums in the province: one calling for Alberta to leave, the other urging it to stay.
On Friday, Premier Danielle Smith’s government will officially lower the required threshold for citizens to initiate a provincewide referendum.
That has many pondering the pros and cons of parting ways with Canada. Morgan Black reports.
