Samsung fans have a lot of great wearable options. The brand-new Galaxy Ring made a big splash when it was released this summer, and the company has been making quality smartwatches for years, with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra being the newest, most cutting-edge of the bunch.

Smartwatches are definitely something of a luxury, however, which is why we’ve been on the lookout for the best ways to save money on these devices. If you’re looking for the most significant savings, opting for an older, previous-generation model is a smart move. We’re seeing discounted prices on the Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic now that the latest iterations of Samsung’s smartwatches have hit shelves. Even the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro still hold up well and include a skin-temperature sensor and solid battery life.

This story is part of Samsung Event, CNET’s collection of news, tips and advice around Samsung’s most popular products.

In addition to straightforward discounts, you can also save on a Galaxy Watch if you have an older smartwatch to trade in or if you’re willing to sign up for a new line at a major carrier.
