Evening Edition: The Senate Takes On Entertainment Ticketing Price Gouging

Date:

Concerts and sporting events cost a fortune these days and Congress is taking notice. A hearing before the Senate took place to find a solution for the decades old problem that seems to be getting worse with junk fees, scalpers and resale bots. Representing artists is MAGA-friendly Kid Rock, who has been urging Congress and other federal regulators to crack down on ticketing abuses after standing with President Trump during last year’s enforcement push. Also testifying is ‘Live Nation’ executive Dan Wall, who has been under heavy scrutiny as they are facing a major antitrust lawsuit filed by the DOJ.

FOX’s John Saucier speaks with FOX’s Rich Edson, senior national correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC) who monitored the hearing, who says there are multiple factors that surround the skyrocketing cost of live entertainment.
