Former Qantas Pilot Richard De Crespigny chats with Today host Karl, calling on the need to provide safety in the air. He reveals the reporting of the weather is not the concern, but the provision of pilots to diversions and alerts to drones. Without these changes and further staff shortages, he says there will be more dangers of near misses in the air space.
