'High Potential' Season 2 Hiatus: When Does the Next Episode Premiere?

The hit ABC show High Potential started releasing new season 2 episodes in September, but there’s no new installment tonight. Fans will have to wait until early 2026Β to reunite with Kaitlin Olson’s fashionable crime-solver, Morgan Gillory.

High Potential follows a single mom with an exceptional mind who winds up working as a consultant for the Los Angeles Police Department. It’s based on the French series Haut Potentiel Intellectuel and airs on ABC first before streaming on Hulu.Β 

In addition to Olson, the show stars Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil,Β Amirah JΒ as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena. Daniel Sunjata plays Morgan’s by-the-book partner, Karadec, and Steve Howey joins the cast in season 2 as newΒ precinct captain, Nick Wagner.

When to watch High Potential season 2 on Hulu

High Potential will return to screens in 2026. The next episode of the Kaitlin Olson-starring series will air on ABC on Tuesday, Jan. 6 atΒ 9 p.m. ET/9 p.m.Β PTΒ and stream the following day on Hulu. Season 2, episodes 1-7 are currently streaming with a Hulu subscription.Β

Hulu’s ad-supported plan officially costs more as of Oct. 21. New customers will now pay $12 per month or $120 per year, an increase from $10 per month or $100 per year. Existing ad-based Hulu customers will pay the new price on or after Oct. 21. The ad-free version of Hulu remains unchanged atΒ $19 per month. There are also a variety of bundles that include Hulu, such as the Hulu, Disney Plus and Max bundle.Β
