How to Join the Waitlist for Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Tour

Did you receive a rejection email for the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience? Fortunately, there’s still a way to check out the event and get a chance to play the Switch 2.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience is a worldwide tour for the new console starting in April. It’s a free event, but getting a ticket required a bit of luck. Fortunately, Nintendo is opening up a waitlist for those who still want to attend. 

Here’s what we know about the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience. 

When does the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience start? 

The first tour stop is in New York City, April 4-6. It’ll take place at Center415 at 417 5th Ave. 

What US cities will have Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events? 

The tour heads to Los Angeles April 11-13, in Television City at 7800 Beverly Blvd. Then it goes to Dallas on April 25-27, at the Embarcadero Building at Fair Park located at 1229 Admiral Nimitz Dr.

What other cities will have Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events? 

The tour is worldwide and will stop at the following cities: 

  • Toronto, April 25-27
  • Paris, April 4-6
  • London, April 11-13
  • Milan, April 25-27
  • Berlin, April 25-27
  • Madrid, May 9-11
  • Amsterdam, May 9-11
  • Melbourne, May 10-11
  • Tokyo (Makuhari), April 26-27
  • Seoul, May 31 to June 1
  • Hong Kong and Taipei, TBA

How do I register for a ticket? 

Registration is already closed, and Nintendo sent emails to those who were or weren’t picked to attend the event. 

I didn’t get a Switch 2 Experience ticket. How do I get on the waitlist? 

According to the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience page, waitlists will be available starting on Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET. Spots on the waitlists are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Like with registration, a free Nintendo account is required.

What will be shown at the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience event?

We don’t know the details yet. The likely scenario is that people with tickets will be able to try out the Switch 2 for an undisclosed amount of time, with different games available to play. 

Nintendo hasn’t provided details on when the Switch 2 will officially be available, or the price.
