Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer-songwriter. She rose to global fame as a teenager and has won multiple Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year twice.

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell was born on December 18, 2001, in Los Angeles, California. She was raised in the Highland Park neighborhood by her parents, actress and screenwriter Maggie Baird and actor Patrick O'Connell. Both parents were involved in the arts and homeschooled Billie and her older brother, Finneas O'Connell. Eilish began singing in the Los Angeles Children's Chorus at age eight and developed an early interest in music, dance, and songwriting.
Career Beginnings
Eilish's professional career began when her brother Finneas, already an established songwriter and musician, helped her record the song 'Ocean Eyes' in 2015. Originally written by Finneas for his own band, the track was uploaded to SoundCloud in 2016 and quickly attracted widespread attention online.
