Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is the world's largest beer festival, held annually in Munich, Germany, drawing millions of visitors to celebrate Bavarian culture, traditional food, and beer.
The festival originated in 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, with a horse race held on fields outside Munich that became an annual tradition, gradually evolving into the beer-focused festival known today.
