Early Life and Background

Timothée Hal Chalamet was born on December 27, 1995, in New York City, New York, to Marc Chalamet, a French editor and journalist, and Nicole Flender, an American actress and real estate broker. Chalamet spent portions of his childhood in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, France, and attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City. He later studied at Columbia University and subsequently transferred to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts before departing to pursue his acting career full-time.
