A search operation has entered its final day off the coast of Greece after a migrant vessel sank on Wednesday. The deathtoll is 78 but that figure is expected to rise substantially, as an estimated 750 people were onboard. Authorities in Greece have arrested 9 Egyptian nationals believed to be people smugglers. Questions still remain on if the Greek coastguard took too long in providing assistance, with NGOs saying the latest tragedy in the Meditterean was entirely preventible.
