Hundreds of thousands of workers in the United Kingdom are on strike or are planning to go on strike over pay. Civil servants are walking off the job today, and nurses will be taking to the streets for 48 hours from Sunday. Teachers and rail workers too will be going on strike in the coming days. Unions want pay rises to keep up with inflation in the country which is currently over 10 percent. FRANCE 24’s correspondent in London Benedicte Paviot reports.
