Out-of-control anti-war protesters have attacked police horses and thrown faeces at mounted officers as up to 25,000 people took part in Melbourne’s largest anti-war demonstration in more than 20 years outside the biennial Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition on Wednesday morning.
