This Itty-Bitty Flash Drive Offers 1TB That Can Stay Plugged In

Sandisk is going small — very small — with its newest flash drive.

The Extreme Fit is a tiny USB-C device that comes in five storage sizes, from 64GB to 1TB, at a cost of about $15 to $110 based on current sale prices on the company website. That is a lot of storage without having to go full-on external hard drive.

Except for the 64GB version, Sandisk says the device has read speeds of 400Mbps. That includes the models in the 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB sizes. Because of its small size (it looks like a tiny television set plugged into the USB port), the Extreme Fit can be kept plugged in to a laptop on the go, the company says. It uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 technology.

Included with the flash drive is the Sandisk Memory Zone software for Windows and Mac, which offers features including automatic backups and file management on a computer. The Memory Zone app is also available for iOS and Android.

Sandisk says the flash drive also comes with a five-year warranty.
