Trump, Xi set to meet in South Korea amid trade tension

US President Donald Trump is set to meet his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Thursday (Oct 30) on the sidelines of the APEC summit in South Korea.

It will be their first in-person encounter since 2019, as Trump seeks a trade deal between the world’s two largest economies.
