Twelve killed in Bondi Beach shooting targeting Sydney’s Jewish community

SYDNEY: Twelve people have been killed in a shooting at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach that targeted the Jewish community.
Australian police say the incident on Sunday (Dec 14) has been classified as a terrorist attack.
The shooting occurred as an event was being held to celebrate the start of the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. More than 1,000 people were in attendance, police said.
One of the alleged shooters was among the dead. A second shooter, who is in custody, is in a critical condition, said authorities.
Twenty-nine wounded were rushed to various hospitals. Live updates:
