Zelensky has just met with Prime minister Elisabeth Borne and he will have dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée. The timing is very important because this comes just days before the G7 summit in Japan. ‘Ukraine will be looking to prove to Western leaders that their aid is having a tangible effect on the battlefield’, said France 24 journalist Carys Garland.
