Back to school under Russian attacks: 40% of Ukrainian children unable to take normal classes


As children across Ukraine prepare to return to school over the next few days, Ukraine’s education minister has said millions of students risk becoming a lost generation as a result of the ongoing war. More than 140 thousand pupils in the front line Zaporizhia region will be distance learning. More than 1300 schools have been destroyed since the start of Russia’s full scale invasion of the country, a year and a half ago. FRANCE 24’s Charlotte Hughes and Ethan Hajji have the story.
