The Turkish government is asking for help from Canada and other countries after a powerful earthquake destroyed hundreds of buildings and left thousands of people dead in both Turkey and Syria.
The first 24 to 48 hours are critical to saving the lives of those trapped in the rubble left from the magnitude 7.8 quake.
